Marcy is currently advising companies directly, including Hyperloop One, and serving as a Managing Director and Strategic Advisor at Burson-Marsteller. Additionally, she is an angel investor in numerous companies, and is the founder of Agent of Change, which provides strategic communications and public relations services to the world's most innovative tech companies.
Lowell is a Senior Director and has worked with Marcy Simon at Burson-Marsteller since 2012 where he creates go-to-market strategies and develops long-term communications plans to help raise brand awareness for clients. Most recently, he was a Senior Account Executive at LaunchSquad where he focused on strategic media relations for young technology companies including the Barry Diller-backed Aereo, Path.To and Usablenet as well as established brands such as American Express OPEN and The San Francisco Exploratorium. Prior to this, Lowell worked at The American Museum of Natural History, where he helped usher the institution into the digital age by creating a new strategy focused exclusively on digital PR and social media. Lowell started his career on the “Events Team” at Rubenstein Communications, Inc. and promoted clients such as NYC & Company, New York Cares, and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
Sandy is a Director at Burson-Marsteller where she helps lead the day-to-day activities for startups and emerging technology companies. She specializes in developing written content for her clients including messaging, press releases, bylined articles and blog posts while also conducting daily media outreach. Prior to this role, Sandy was an Account Executive at Bite Communications, where she was responsible for leading media and analyst relations across numerous B2B and B2C accounts, including Nokia, Sony, Avaya and various startups. Her proactive media outreach has resulted in coverage in top print publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Bloomberg Businessweek as well as in national broadcast outlets including CNN and Fox News.
Sydney primarily works with companies in the startup technology space, where she supports her team with media relations, events and client research. She has a background in fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR from her previous position on the PR/Marketing team at Mara Hoffman. Sydney is a graduate of the George Washington University, where she studied Organizational Sciences and Business Administration.
